Children go to school two hours late, but our class starts on time!

I know that children need watching.  Come as soon as you can!!  15 minutes is better than 0 minutes!

For the homework worksheets, look at the verbs.  Verbs are action words. Examples:   He likes Chinese food, and she does too.  He is Chinese, and she is too.  Only use "to be" (is, are) with "to be." (is, are)  Other verbs take "does" or "do" in simple present.  (Other verb tenses use their own question words for short answers.  I'm going to study, and Gulshan is too.  I'm not going to wait, and Bob isn't either.  I will wait, and Maria will too.  I won't quit, and my students won't either.  I can cook, and Liz can too.  Dorothy can't cook, and Rick can't either.  I went to France, and Maria did too.  I didn't go to Antartica, and Quy didn't either.)

Grammar Explanation and Practice for Simple Present

Be careful!  I hope I see you at 9:00.

Did you have "snow days" when you were a child?  I didn't have snow days when I lived in Colorado.  I was really surprised at my first snow day in Virginia.

Write about a memory in the snow.
