WE HAVE SCHOOL!
Many of our children are NOT in school today because today is a "teacher's workday," a day when our children's teachers get paid to get training, have meetings, and do end-of-term paperwork. Adult classes do NOT have the day off.

Happy Superbowl Sunday!
Okay --I want to explain some things in this song:
High school athletics usually start with a pledge of allegiance to the U.S. Flag. American football is usually played in autumn so team members are the boys of fall. Fighting butterflies is overcoming nervous feelings, talking trash is bragging and joking in a competitive way, got your back means we'll protect and defend you, mess with one you got us all means that if you start a fight with one member of the team, everybody on the team will fight for him.
American Football Vocabulary
We're watching the New England Patriots vs. the Atlanta Falcons on Fox, but this is one of the clearest football-related lyrics videos I saw on youtube, and it IS a Sunday game.
Do you like American Football? Do you like soccer? Are you watching the game? Are you watching the commercials? Can you believe the Patriots won?
Until it happens to you....
Lady Gaga is singing at the Superbowl on Sunday.
Even when you speak fluently, some people don't understand.
Write about a friend who usually understands you or about a friend that rarely understands you.
