Watching the news makes me angry and sad. We need police that truly protect and serve everybody.

Memorial Day 2020
At the end of the day, many military units play "Taps" at bedtime. "Taps" is often played at military funerals. It's rare to hear lyrics except in Boy Scouts. "Safely Rest" (not "Bob Good Night") is usually the last line.

May Day is May 1
In the US, children in P.E. (physical education-gym class) often celebrate May Day by doing some version of a Maypole dance. It's rare to see other people celebrate.
Internationally, however, May Day often commemorates worker's rights and remembers injustice in Chicago, IL, USA.
Do you like folk dancing? Are there dances specific to your culture? Can you do them?
Are workers treated well in your country? What do people do to make sure that workers are respected and paid decently?
